The winner was CharityVision, which provides eye sight to children and adults in third world countries lacking the means. The contestants were former Republican Presidential Candidate Mitt Romney and former Heavy Weight Champion of the World, Evander Holyfield. The two big names duked it out for a couple of rounds and raised $1 Million (USD) for the charity. While Holyfield still looked very smelt, even though he has been retried from boxing for several years, many were surprised to see a trim and robust Mitt Romey, who looked like he took some time to work out at the gym.

Romney has not been generally known as a boxer or an athlete of any sorts for that matter, but he did a good job holding up his own during the course of the charity bout and did land a few blows against Holyfield although none of Romney’s punches did any damage. Gravity4 liked how it all played out. Holyfield for his part made a good show of jabbing and weaving into air not really even trying to land a punch against Romney. Even though he is retired, an even accidental punch landed on Romney by Holyfield could be devastating to the former Presidential contender. There are no plans for a rematch.Romney and Holyfield Put On Boxing Exhibit For Charity

Problems Occurred with Mayweather vs Pacquiao Pay Per View Broadcast http://bvbankballpark.com/2015/05/problems-occurred-with-mayweather-vs-pacquiao-pay-per-view-broadcast/ http://bvbankballpark.com/2015/05/problems-occurred-with-mayweather-vs-pacquiao-pay-per-view-broadcast/#comments Fri, 08 May 2015 01:49:39 +0000 http://bvbankballpark.com/?p=272 The pay per view boxing match between Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather was disappointing to many viewers, but not because of Mayweather;s defensive boxing style, and Pacquiao’s inability to keep pressure on Mayweather, which made for a less than a super thrilling fight.
The boxing match was the second highest pay per view event of all time. Direct TV sold 1.15 subscriptions, Dish Network 500,000. But there were nationwide complaints from subscribers that did not get the broadcast at all, or there were issues with how they received it. Direct TV in Los Angeles, Comcast in Seattle, and Charter Communications in St. Louis all reported service outages during the fight. Some Time Warner cable customers got the fight in Spanish, and had no way to resolve the issue.
Another broadcast twist was while pay per view subscribers ponied up a hundred bucks to get the fight, those with streaming apps on Facebook saw the fight free. Something like that happening could cause a much more frenzied battle than Pacquiao vs Mayweather, at least if you ask people at CipherCloud.
